The standard rule for opened bags of dog food at Pet and Home Care, is that we do not take them back for a standard refund or exchange; instead, they can only be accepted for donation.

    The following windows apply to all pet retail products:

    1. Unopened Food, Treats, & Supplies: Full refund to the original payment method within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is in new, resalable condition with a receipt or verified transaction history.
    2. Bone Bar Treats: These treats are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
    3. Final Sale Exceptions: Frozen or raw diets (due to cold-chain food safety requirements), clearance/last-chance inventory, and chewed or destroyed toys are strictly final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
    4. Recalls: If you purchased any recalled food products, you may exchange that product.
