Story
From Neighborhood Walks to Holistic Wellness
Pet and Home Care (PHC) began with a simple passion for animals. Founder Tiffany Lewis started walking dogs in her Potomac neighborhood when she was a senior in high school. Through a combination of hustle and glowing word-of-mouth, that after-school side gig evolved into a lifelong mission. By 2002, Tiffany’s dedication had grown the business to the point of hiring her first team member.
Today, PHC has blossomed into a premier care service with more than 50 employees serving Maryland’s Montgomery and Frederick Counties. But as we grew, we realized that truly loving a pet means looking at the “big picture” of their health and happiness.
The Next Evolution: Our “Whole-Pet” Approach
To better serve our community, PHC acquired The Green K9 in 2024, ushering in a new era of Whole-Pet Care. We believe that wellness isn’t just about a walk or a meal, it’s about our “Tip-to-Tail” philosophy that considers a pet’s physical health, mental stimulation, and emotional comfort.
