The 4th of July is right around the corner! Fireworks may be so much fun for us humans, but for our fur babies, it could be packed with fear and anxiety.

There are more runaway pets during the 4th of July than any other holiday!

Let us help you keep your doggie safe during this time!

We have put together some helpful tips! Share with us how you keep your doggie happy and safe during 4th of July!!

Here are some tips:

  • Make sure your pets collar has up to date information!
  • If your pup is microchipped, make sure it is registered and your contact info is up to date.
  • Play the TV in the background
  • Thunder vests!
  • Stay home with your pet
  • Exercise earlier in the day, so your pet is tired.
  • If your pet is very anxious, always call your vet!

Reserve your pooch’s spot at our safe and clean Pet Resort for fun-in-the-sun puppy play all day. No pet? No problem, book Pet and Home care to stop by for a home check to water plants, rotate lights and bring in your mail and packages.

Our June Sitter Spotlight Winner Is Amber!

Pet and Home Care has been very lucky to have Amber on our team over the past ten months! Amber is incredibly kind and loving toward all animals and is always willing to lend a hand when needed. She is a dog trainer, pet sitter, and now also helps out at our Pet Resort! All of the animals she has cared for absolutely love when she comes to visit. Congrats Amber, PHC and all the pets you care for are so happy to have you on our team!

Save Time With Grocery Delivery

Whether it was a short week or a long one, we bet you could use a break. Skip the line, save time, and get your groceries delivered directly to your door.

Shopping

Our new shopping and delivery service has become very popular!

How does the grocery shopping and delivery service work?

First, you would send your grocery list to care@petandhomecare.com along with the date and time of day you would like your groceries delivered. Include your preferred grocery store(s). We are shopping and delivering 2-3x times per week so the wait time is usually less than 48hrs.

Please try to be as specific as possible in your list so that we can ensure we pick up the correct items. Include the item, preferred brand, type, and size/quantity.

For example – 1 container of milk: store brand, 2%, 1 gallon.

Once all items have been picked up, our manager Maiya will give you a call when she is on the way to drop them off at your home. At that time, if you are paying by check she will give you the total amount to be paid. Please have your check ready when she arrives to drop your groceries off.

She will drop your groceries off at your doorstep and knock on your door or ring your doorbell to let you know that they are outside. She will wait at least 6 feet away from your door until someone opens to ensure you receive your groceries.

Fees:
20% of the total grocery cost is our fee for gas/time expenses.
If paying by debit/credit card: an additional credit card processing fee of 6% of the grocery cost will be added to your total.
If paying by check: Just the 20% of the total grocery cost will be added, avoid CC fee this way.

Medication pick up:
Please include the full name of the individual (first, last)
Date of birth
Please specify which prescriptions need to be picked up. This is so that Maiya can verify the correct prescription is being given from the pharmacy and to avoid picking up any filled medications that may not be needed anymore.

Has Your Trip or Event Rescheduled?

Change of plans? No problem! We have your tail covered. We are accepting bookings through the end of the year so please do reschedule your care to have your pet and home care needs reserved.

Our cancelation policy is 12-48hrs based on the service you need, so no need to worry if you need to change your plans again. We are even waiving that policy as needed. It’s better to book your care and change it later, rather than booking us last minute. We are here for you when you need us and want to plan for your summer, fall, and winter needs.
